We visit our local nature center a lot; it’s next door to our closest park and right next to the greenbelt where we love to ride our bikes. All within a mile of our house, we’re so lucky!

Despite having visited many, many times, there’s always something new to us that catches our eye. This trip, it was the stunning mosaic next to one of the viewing windows where you can watch the fish underwater.

The boys ran their fingers over the wall, and it felt as if they were absorbing all the art had to offer. We talked colors, design, how to build a picture out of individual squares.  Each piece of the art, each piece of our life, is just one color, but together they build up an exquisite design, and from these single blocks we can inspire emotions, actions, we can build our life.
